Theories are the backbone of any program, whether it's for fitness or behavior change. I'd have to go with option D - it provides the conceptual framework to assess what's really going on.
Theories? I thought this was an exercise exam, not a philosophy test! But I guess they're useful for understanding why we do what we do. Option D sounds like the way to go.
