The group property sounds like the right call to me. After all, what's the point of having a reward card if you can't even see your own customer info? Talk about a reward for doing nothing!

I'm not so sure about that. I think the scope property with a value of global might be the better choice here. That way, the customer attribute can be accessed across the entire application.

Option A looks good to me. Adding the group property with a value of 1 should fix the issue with the customer attribute not being available in the My account/My rewards page template.
