D? Really? Who would ever put their custom configs in the same directory as the default ones? That's just asking for them to get overwritten.

Definitely C. The docs clearly state that's the recommended location for custom Share configs. Anything else is just asking for trouble.

B seems like the most logical choice to me. I mean, it's right in the Share web app, so it makes sense that's where the custom config would go.

I'm pretty sure the correct answer is A. That's where I've always put my custom Share configurations and they've never been removed by ACS upgrades.
