What is the recommended location for putting custom Share configurations so that your configuration changes will successfully override the default settings and won't be removed by ACS upgrades?
I agree, putting it in the WEB-INF directory would definitely cause problems. It's important to follow the recommended locations for custom configurations.
Option A seems like the right choice. Putting the custom configuration in the shared/classes directory ensures that it won't be affected by ACS upgrades.
