I'd say B, C, and D are all valid reasons. Trying to modify an instance with an ongoing backup task? Recipe for disaster!

I agree, but C and D could also cause the operation to fail. Backup tasks and disaster recovery instances can be tricky.

Haha, A is such a silly answer. Of course you can't modify an instance that's already running, that would be like trying to change the tires on a moving car!

I agree, B and C are the correct answers. D sounds like a trick question - you shouldn't be able to modify a disaster recovery instance in the first place.

B and C seem the most likely reasons. You can't modify an instance that's already running, and you also can't modify one that's in the middle of a backup task.
