I believe A) Security groups is the correct answer, as it is used for controlling access to EC2 instances.

That's a good point, but the question specifies that the firewall is already pre-installed.

But what about using the AWS Marketplace to find a pre-installed firewall?

Actually, Noble, AWS Systems Manager is used for managing servers and other resources, not for third-party firewalls.

Ah, good point Vannessa. Systems Manager could be an option, but I think the Marketplace is the more straightforward solution here. Less hassle with the setup and configuration.

I think Security groups could work too, but the Marketplace is probably more efficient in this case.

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm also considering C) AWS Systems Manager. It might be possible to use Systems Manager to install and configure a third-party firewall on an EC2 instance.

Yes, I agree with Harris. The AWS Marketplace is the way to go here. You can search for and launch EC2 instances with pre-installed third-party firewalls, which sounds like exactly what the question is asking for.

Hmm, this is an interesting question. I think the answer is B) AWS Marketplace. AWS Marketplace allows you to find and deploy third-party software, including pre-configured firewall solutions, onto your EC2 instances.
