D seems a bit extreme, don't you think? Why nuke the whole hard drive when you can just unlock it with that recovery key? Gotta love FileVault 2 for that.

I'd go with B. The Firmware Password utility can help bypass the login screen and get you back in. Just don't forget that password either!
