I have to say, the 'toss a light object' one really takes the cake. Maybe they should try throwing a brick next time, that'll really get their attention. Shoulder tap for the win!

Wow, that first option is just pure comedy gold. Tossing things at someone with hearing loss - genius! But I'll have to go with the shoulder tap, it's the clear winner here.

Yeah, definitely don't toss things at them. Tapping on the shoulder is the way to go.

I think grabbing their shoulders and turning them is too invasive, D) tap on the shoulder is more respectful.

Grab their shoulders and turn them around? What is this, a scene from a bad sitcom? Definitely going with the shoulder tap, it's the most respectful approach.

I agree with Jolanda, tapping on the shoulder is a gentle way to get their attention.

Speak louder? Isn't that the opposite of what you'd want to do with a hearing-impaired person? Turning them towards you is also a no-go, that's just awkward.

Tossing a light object at them? Really? That's just asking for trouble. I'd go with the shoulder tap - it's the most polite and considerate option.
