The technical architecture department contacts you to tell you that all existing WSDL definitions need to be modified to add an additional concrete description in order to bind the service to a new version of SOAP. You begin with the WSDL definition for the Notification service, as shown here:

Given the fact that this WSDL definition has only one "operation" element, which new elements will need to be added in order to add the concrete description described above?

I don't think so, since the question mentioned adding a concrete description, which is usually done with 'portType' and 'binding' elements.

Hold up, what do you mean 'concrete description'? Are we talking about the WSDL or a construction site here?

I don't know, this all looks a bit too technical for me. Can't we just use a SOAP-free alternative and call it a day?

Haha, I bet the exam writers thought they were being sneaky with this one. But a true WSDL master like myself knows exactly what to do.

But do we also need to add a 'service' element along with the 'portType' and 'binding' elements?

Wait, isn't a 'portType' element already present in the WSDL definition? I'm pretty sure we just need to add the 'binding' and 'service' elements.

Adding the 'binding' and 'service' elements will allow us to bind the service to the new version of SOAP.

Yes, you are correct. We need to add the 'binding' and 'service' elements to the existing 'portType' element.

I agree with Herminia, adding those elements makes sense for binding the service to a new version of SOAP.

The WSDL definition provided has only one 'operation' element, so the correct answer is option B. We need to add a 'portType' element, a 'binding' element, and a 'service' element to bind the service to the new version of SOAP.

Yes, that's correct. Those new elements will help bind the service to the new version of SOAP.
