Which of the following is the BEST service when new firmware is available for installed equipment across a fleet of conference rooms?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

The ringed update approach is the best service when new firmware is available for installed equipment across a fleet of conference rooms. This approach involves updating the firmware in phases or 'rings,' starting with a small group of devices to ensure that the update is stable and does not introduce new issues. Once the initial ring is confirmed to be successful, the update is gradually rolled out to additional groups, reducing the risk of widespread problems. This method allows for controlled testing and monitoring, ensuring that any issues can be addressed before the update is applied to all devices.

I'm not sure about that. Doesn't a ringed update approach (Option D) make more sense? That way you can test it out in a few rooms first before rolling it out to the entire fleet.

I agree with Lettie, updating them all at once ensures consistency.

Option C, updating them all at once, is definitely the way to go. Who has time to handle these updates one-by-one? I want to get it done and move on.
