Hmm, I'm not sure about option D. Bypassing the switcher entirely could create more problems down the line. I'd recommend option C - bring in a replacement switcher. It may take a bit more time, but it's the most reliable long-term solution.

I'd say option B is the way to go. Changing the power supply might be the fix they need, and it's a lot less work than bringing in a whole new switcher. Plus, the client will appreciate you taking the time to actually diagnose and repair the issue.
