GPS all the way! I don't want to be out there wandering around like a lost puppy trying to find my way. Efficiency is key, and the GPS module is the way to go.

The GPS module is the clear winner. Unless you're trying to track down a rogue access point, the sniffer mode is overkill for a simple site survey.
