Well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Just remove the default SSM config and add the RP, right? Option B is the way to go, folks.

I'm not sure, but I think changing ip igmp version 2 to ip igmp version 3 on interface GigabitEthernet 1/0 could also work.
