You're right, option B doesn't mention limiting the VLANs. Maybe option C is a better choice with configuring limit-resource vlan maximum for the test VRF.

But don't we also need to limit the number of VLANs for the test environment?

That makes sense, it would separate the environments and allow for fault domain isolation.

I think option B could be the right choice, using VDC for each environment and configuring limit-resource module-type for the test VDC.

Me too, I'm not sure which actions to take to meet all the requirements.

I see your point, C) does seem to cover all the bases. It might be the correct answer after all.

I think C) is the best option because it includes VDC for separation purposes.

But B) does not specify the configuration for the VRFs as required.

That's a good point. And using VRF in option A doesn't really address the line card and VLAN requirements for the test environment. I'm leaning more towards option B as well.

Okay, let's break this down. The key requirements are separating test and production, having fault domain isolation and improved security, and limiting the test environment to F2 series line cards and 256 VLANs. I think option B is the best fit because VDC gives us the isolation we need, and we can configure the limit-resource module-type and vlan settings specifically for the test VDC.

Definitely! And the fact that they're testing our knowledge of specific Nexus 7000 Series features like VDC and limit-resource makes it even more challenging.

Alright, I think we've got a consensus. Option B it is! Let's move on to the next question before the proctor catches us chatting.
