I bet the answer is B, but I'm also curious if TACACS+ encrypts the password with a secret handshake and a decoder ring. Just kidding, but seriously, encryption is important in these networking protocols.
This is a tough one, but I'm leaning towards B. TACACS+ is the more secure option, encrypting both the username and password. RADIUS is just playing it safe with the password.
I think the answer is C) TACACS+ encrypts the password, whereas RADIUS sends the entire packet in clear text. That's why I prefer using TACACS+ for better security.
