Which content filter condition checks to see if the "From: header" in the message is similar to any of the users in the content dictionary?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

The content filter condition that checks to see if the ''From: header'' in the message is similar to any of the users in the content dictionary is Forged Email Detection. This condition compares the sender's name or email address with a list of names or email addresses in a content dictionary and triggers an action if they match or are similar.Reference: [Cisco Secure Email Gateway Administrator Guide - Forged Email Detection]

Haha, Forged Email Detection is the obvious choice here. Who else would be checking the 'From:' header besides that filter? Definitely not the Subject Header or Duplicate Boundaries Verification!

Duplicate Boundaries Verification? Really? That doesn't seem to have anything to do with the 'From:' header. I'm going with Forged Email Detection on this one.

Yeah, Duplicate Boundaries Verification doesn't really match the 'From:' header.

SPF Verification sounds like it might be the right answer, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll have to review my notes on that one.

I'm not sure, but I think it could also be D) Duplicate Boundaries Verification, as it checks for similarities in the message content.

I agree with Dorethea, because checking the 'From: header' for similarity to users in the content dictionary sounds like detecting forged emails.

I think it's Forged Email Detection. The question specifically mentions checking the 'From:' header, which is what that filter does.
