Cisco Exam 300-815 Topic 2 Question 78 Discussion

Actual exam question for Cisco's 300-815 exam
Question #: 78
Topic #: 2
[All 300-815 Questions]

A company has users that are logged in to hunt groups. However, there is a requirement for hunt group configurations to provide an option to turn on audible ringtones when calls to a line group arrive at a phone that is logged out and on a break. This ringtone alerts a logged-out user that there is an incoming call to a hunt list to which the line is a member, but the call does not ring at the phone of that line group member because of the logged-out status. Which action meets this requirement?

Ah, but what if the user is on a break and not just logged out? I wonder if Option B, setting the Party Entrance Tone to True, might be a better solution in that case.

Hmm, good catch. That's a valid point. The question did specify 'logged out and on a break', so Option B might be the way to go. It would cover both scenarios.

I see your point, but I still think Option B is the best choice for this requirement.

Hmm, good point. But I think Option B might be more appropriate in this case.

A) Configure the HLog softkey on the phone so that while a user is logged off, it plays an audible tone when a call is missed.

Haha, yeah, imagine if the ringtone was just a recording of the IT guy saying, 'Hey, get back to work!' That would really get their attention!
