D all the way. Unless, of course, the DNS issue is actually a result of a Supernatural rift in the fabric of reality. In that case, we'll need a Winchester brother on the case.

I'd go with D too. Trying to change the search rule or deleting the zone sounds like a bandaid approach. Better to fix the root cause.
