Hmm, I was leaning towards option C, since I know that issues with the base OS can affect the entire system. But I guess that's more of a downside of the Type 2 architecture.
Okay, that makes sense. So the main task of a Type 2 hypervisor is to manage hardware resources between different guest operating systems running on top of the host OS, right?
This question seems pretty straightforward, but I'm not entirely sure about the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisors. Can someone explain it to me?
