Actual exam question for Cisco's 350-701 exam
Question #: 96
Topic #: 1
[All 350-701 Questions]

Which two types of connectors are used to generate telemetry data from IPFIX records in a Cisco Secure Workload implementation? (Choose two.)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D, E

In a Cisco Secure Workload implementation, telemetry data can be generated from IPFIX (Internet Protocol Flow Information Export) records using NetFlow connectors and Cisco Secure Workload itself. NetFlow provides insights into network traffic flow and volume, while Cisco Secure Workload uses this data for visibility, segmentation, and security analytics within the data center.

B and D, for sure! ERSPAN is like the duct tape of network monitoring, and NetFlow is the backbone of telemetry data. Cisco must be trying to trick us with those other options.

I'm not sure about ERSPAN, but I know for sure that NetFlow is one of the connectors used for generating telemetry data.

This is a tough one, but I'm going to guess B and D. ERSPAN and NetFlow just seem like the most logical options for this kind of setup. Although, maybe Cisco Secure Workload is actually a trick answer. Who knows?

I'm going with C and D. The Cisco ASA is a classic networking device, and NetFlow has been around forever. Can't go wrong with those!

I see your point. E does make sense for telemetry data in a Cisco Secure Workload implementation. Good choice!

I agree with you on D, NetFlow is definitely a common choice. But I would go with E instead of B. Cisco Secure Workload is specifically designed for workload protection.

I think B and D are the right choices. ERSPAN is commonly used for monitoring traffic and NetFlow is a standard protocol for collecting IP traffic information.

Hmm, I think B and E are the answer. Cisco Secure Workload must be involved somehow, right? And ERSPAN is a classic choice for network monitoring.

B and D, obviously! IPFIX is all about NetFlow, and ERSPAN is the way to go for telemetry data.
