Ah, I see where you're going with that. Fast hello could be the way to go, especially since BFD isn't an option. I feel like that's the most logical choice here.

Hey, what about fast hello? Isn't that designed to provide faster OSPF convergence? It might be the key to fulfilling this design requirement.

Okay, let's think this through. STP is definitely not the answer here, that's for layer 2. LFA could work, but I'm not sure if that's the best fit for this specific requirement.
