You know, I was thinking the same thing. The button option does seem a bit too good to be true. I'm going to play it safe and go with the link below the preprocessor heading. That seems like a more standard way of handling this kind of navigation.

I'm leaning more towards the rule group accordion. That seems like it would give you a nice organized view of all the rules, and you could easily expand and collapse the groups to find what you need.
