Where is the Script selector in CCE mapped in ECE?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

In Cisco Enterprise Chat and Email (ECE), Script selector in CCE is mapped to the call type. A call type is a category of interactions, such as chat, email, or voice, that are handled differently in the contact center. Each call type can be associated with a script that contains the instructions that should be executed in order to handle the interactions for that call type.

Interesting point, Vanesa. It could be possible that it's linked to Call Type for script selection.

I'm not sure, but I would guess it's related to Call Type, since that categorizes the call.

I believe it's linked to Dialed Number, as that determines which script to use.

I think the Script selector is mapped to Workflow in ECE.

I disagree with Dan, I think the Script selector is definitely mapped to the Queue.

I think it's linked to the Call Type. That's where it would make the most sense.

Hmm, that makes sense. I can see how the Workflow would be the right choice.

Wonderful, it's settled then. C) Workflow it is. Time to move on to the next mind-bending question on this exam. May the script selector be with us!

Haha, yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking! The exam writers are probably sitting back and laughing at us as we debate this. 'Let's see how many of them fall for the trap!'

Yeah, I agree. D) Call Type seems like a bit of a stretch. And A) Queue and B) Dialed Number just don't seem to fit the bill. I'm feeling pretty confident about C) Workflow at this point.

Ah, the age-old dilemma of the script selector. It's like a game of hide-and-seek, except the winner gets to pass the certification exam. I'm going to go with C) Workflow, but I'm open to other ideas.

You know, I'm starting to think this question is just a trick to see if we're really paying attention. Maybe the answer is D) Call Type, just to throw us off!

Alright, I think we're all leaning towards C) Workflow, but let's double-check the other options just to be sure. D) Call Type could be a possibility, but I don't think it's as likely as the workflow option.

I'm not sure about D) Call Type, but maybe we should consider B) Dialed Number as well.

Hmm, I'm not convinced. If the Script selector is about routing, wouldn't it be more closely related to the Call Type in ECE? That's where you define the different types of calls and how they should be handled.

I'm not so sure about that. Wouldn't the Script selector be more closely tied to the Dialed Number in ECE? That's where you configure the call flow and routing, right?

I think the answer is C) Workflow. That's what I've been told by our instructors, and it makes sense since the Script selector in CCE is used to route calls to specific workflows in ECE.

This is a tricky one. I've heard that the Script selector in CCE is mapped to the Workflow in ECE, but I'm not entirely sure about that. Anyone else have any thoughts?
