I'm a little confused by this one. If continuous integration doesn't mean the builds are available for release, then how is that different from continuous delivery? I'll go with B, but I'm still scratching my head a bit.
Haha, this question is a real head-scratcher. It's like asking 'what's the difference between a car and an automobile?' They're just different words for the same thing, aren't they?
C) Continuous integration is just the practice of integrating code continuously. It doesn't necessarily mean that it can be released at any time like continuous delivery.
I see, so continuous integration is more about the process of integrating code, while continuous delivery is about the ability to release it. That makes sense now.
I agree with Brock. Continuous integration is more about the practice of integrating code, while continuous delivery is about the ability to release it whenever needed.
I'm gonna have to go with D on this one. Continuous integration and continuous delivery are essentially the same thing, right? They're just different terms for the same process.
C) Continuous integration is just the practice of integrating code continuously. It doesn't necessarily mean that it can be released at any time like continuous delivery
I think the difference is that continuous integration is about integrating code continuously, while continuous delivery is about releasing the code at any time.
I think B is the correct answer. Continuous delivery means the code can be released at any time, while continuous integration is the practice of integrating code continuously.
