Exactly, that's why I chose Hosted Hypervisor-Type 2 as my answer.

I think Bob might be right. The exhibit looks like it's showing a hypervisor running on top of the host OS.

But isn't a Type 1 hypervisor installed directly on the host hardware?

I disagree, I believe it's a Type 2 hypervisor based on the setup shown.

I agree with Robt. It definitely looks like a Bare Metal Hypervisor-Type 1 setup.

Because it's directly installed on the hardware without an underlying operating system.

Dude, what if it's a quantum hypervisor? *laughs* Nah, just kidding. But seriously, this is a tough one. I'm going to go with my gut and say Bare Metal Hypervisor-Type 1.

Okay, let's think this through. A Hosted Hypervisor-Type 1 wouldn't make sense here, since that requires a host OS. And a Hosted Hypervisor-Type 2 usually runs on top of a general-purpose OS, which we don't see in the exhibit. I'm going with Bare Metal Hypervisor-Type 1.

Wait, are we sure this isn't a Bare Metal Hypervisor-Type 2? I mean, that's a thing, right? *scratches head*

Hmm, I'm leaning towards Hosted Hypervisor-Type 2. The exhibit doesn't provide enough information to definitively rule that out.

I'm not sure, but I'm leaning towards Hosted Hypervisor-Type 1 as well.

I think it's a Bare Metal Hypervisor-Type 1. The exhibit doesn't show any host operating system, which is a key characteristic of a Type 1 hypervisor.

This is a tricky question. I can see the arguments for both Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisors, but I'm not entirely sure which one is installed in this environment.
