I don't think so, because host writes are multicast to all appliances in a cluster, so I believe there is no additional traffic.

That's a good point. If the RPAs are using Fibre Channel for their interconnects, then there could be increased traffic there as well.

Yeah, that makes sense. The traffic has to go over the WAN to keep the secondary RPAs in sync with the primary.
