Ooh, that makes sense. In that case, I'm going to go with the 'passive' and 'mobile' agents. Passive ones can just observe the endpoint without interfering, and mobile ones can move around and gather info without the user noticing, right?

Haha, I bet the exam writers are trying to trip us up with the whole 'transparent to the end user' thing. They're probably looking for the agents that can do their compliance checks without the user even knowing about it.

Yeah, that's a good point. I think the key distinction is whether the agent leaves any trace on the endpoint or not. A persistent agent would stick around, while a dissolvable one would just run and then vanish without a trace. But I'm not sure how that relates to validating compliance transparently.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'm not sure about the difference between dissolvable and persistent agents. Isn't a persistent agent just one that sticks around on the endpoint, even if the user reboots or logs off? And a dissolvable one is like a temporary agent that disappears after it's done its job?
