I know this one like the back of my hand. The answer is definitely B. Fortigate wouldn't just default to public servers, that would be too easy. Now, where's the coffee?

Good point. Maybe it has a failover system in place.

But what if C is also down? Would it then go to public servers?

I agree with you, C seems like the logical choice.

I think it's C. The next available server in line.

I'm feeling lucky today. Let's go with B. 10.0.1.242 it is! And if I'm wrong, I'll just blame the cat for sitting on my keyboard.

This is a tricky one, but I'm going with D. 10.0.1.243 seems like the most logical choice if the primary server is down. Fortigate's got to have a backup plan, right?

I agree, C) 10.0.1.244 could also be a possible choice.

I'm leaning towards D) 10.0.1.243 as well, it seems like a reliable backup option.

But wouldn't it make more sense to choose 10.0.1.242 since it's closer in IP address to the primary server?

I believe it will switch to 10.0.1.243 as the next option.

Public FortiGuard servers? Nah, that's too obvious. I'm going with C - 10.0.1.244. Gotta think outside the box, you know?

I'm leaning towards D - 10.0.1.243, just to be different.

I think B - 10.0.1.242 could also be a good option in case of an outage.

Hmm, I think the answer is B. If 10.0.1.240 is down, FortiGate will probably redirect to the next available server, which is 10.0.1.242.

Good point, it's important to have redundancy in place for situations like this.

In that case, I believe FortiGate will then choose 10.0.1.243 as the next option.
