Wait, so we can't just make changes on FortiSwitch manager and have them automatically applied? That's just inefficient. I was totally going to choose that option.
Haha, yeah, the part about having to install the changes on FortiGate is a good one. It's like we need to do double the work just to get anything done on those switches!
C) If the administrator makes any changes on FortiSwitch manager they must also install those changes on FortiGate so that those changes are applied on the managed switches
You're right, that part about the default management mode is a bit unclear. As for the FortiGate REST API, I'm pretty sure FortiManager doesn't query that every three minutes. That seems a bit too frequent.
Hmm, this question seems a bit tricky. I'm not too sure about the default management mode on FortiManager, but I do know that we need to manually add switches to FortiSwitch manager, even if they are already authorized on FortiGate.
