I agree with Antonette, that's one advantage. But I also believe it enables spokes to bypass the hub during shortcut negotiation.

I think enabling ADVPN on the IPsec overlays provides direct connectivity between spokes by creating shortcuts.

B and C are definitely the correct answers. ADVPN enables direct spoke-to-spoke connectivity and allows spokes to bypass the hub - that's the whole point of using it in a hub-and-spoke topology.
