Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D, E

To create a recovery image on a USB stick, you need to:

Access Chrome Web Store:Open the Chrome Web Store on a Chrome device (either a Chromebook or a computer with the Chrome browser installed).

Install Chromebook Recovery Utility:Search for and install the 'Chromebook Recovery Utility' extension.

Launch the Utility:Open the installed extension.

Identify Device:Enter the model number of the ChromeOS device for which you want to create the recovery image.

Insert USB Stick:Insert a USB stick with sufficient storage capacity (at least 4GB).

Download and Create:Follow the on-screen instructions in the utility to download the correct recovery image and create the bootable USB stick.

This process will prepare a USB stick that can be used to recover or reinstall ChromeOS on a device that is not functioning properly.

Haha, B and C? Really? I'm pretty sure those options will just lead to a lot of frustrated Googling and maybe a few unexpected downloads. E and D are the way to go, hands down.

E is a no-brainer. The Chrome Recovery Utility is literally designed for this exact purpose. It's like asking how to make toast and someone suggesting you go to the moon.

Yeah, E is the only one that makes sense for creating a recovery image on a USB stick.

D and E are the way to go. Although I do appreciate the creativity of the other options. Maybe I'll try Googling for a recovery image on my smartwatch next time.

E is definitely the correct answer. I mean, how else are you going to get the recovery image onto a USB stick? The Chrome Web Store option is also useful, but you need the Recovery Utility to actually download and create the image.

Yes, and then we should install Chrome Recovery Utility and download the image for the correct device model to a USB stick.

I think we need to go to the Chrome Web Store on a Chrome device.

E and D seem like the obvious choices here. Who would choose to go to Google.com/chromebooks or the Google Play store for a recovery image? That's just plain silly.

I agree, E and D are the most logical steps to take. Installing Chrome Recovery Utility and downloading the image to a USB stick is the way to go.
