Actually, the correct answer is A) 5 minutes because with a 99.999% SLO, there can only be around 5 minutes of downtime per year.

I don't know, guys. 5 minutes seems a little too good to be true for five nines. I'm going with 500 minutes, which is about 8 hours of downtime per year. That sounds more realistic to me.

Yeah, five nines is a tough standard to meet. I'm thinking the answer has to be either 5 minutes or 500 minutes. Anything more than that and it wouldn't really be five nines, right?
