Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, E

To regain access to an Aruba CX switch when credentials are unknown or lost, one can press and hold the clear button, then power cycle the switch to reset the password. Additionally, using the boot profile 0 at the boot loader menu can be used to bypass the current startup configuration, which may include the unknown credentials.

I think the first step is to connect the switch via the console and power cycle it.

I'll go with B and C. Gotta love a good old-fashioned hardware reset. Much more satisfying than waiting on hold with support.

Definitely B and C. Who wants to waste time calling support when you can just press a few buttons and be done with it?

B and C seem like the way to go. Power-cycling and clearing the switch seems like the best way to reset those pesky credentials.
