The customer uses AP-615 and AP-635 Each AP is connected with a Cat 6A cable to a CX 6300F Class 4 PoE switch All APs are in the same group in HPE Aruba Networking Central and share the same configuration However, many of the dongles do not come up.

Since the Cat 6A cable can support higher power levels, replacing the Class 4 PoE switches with Class 6 PoE switches, which can deliver higher power, should resolve the issue with the dongles not powering up.

I'm not sure, but maybe moving the AP-635 to a different group could help too.

You know, I bet if we just unplug and replug those dongles a few times, they'll magically start working. That's the IT way, right? Just keep mashing buttons until it fixes itself.

I would go with option B, creating separate service profiles could also work.

Haha, I love how the question mentions 'many of the dongles don't come up.' Like, how many is 'many'? Are we talking 2 out of 10 or 8 out of 10? Gotta love those vague details!

Hold up, why would we need to move the APs to a different group? That sounds like a lot of extra work. I'd go with option B and create those separate service profiles.

Yeah, creating separate service profiles in the loT tab of the Central configuration settings would definitely be the way to go.

Hmm, I'm not sure a reboot is the best solution here. Changing the PoE switch class seems like overkill. Maybe we should try separating the AP configs instead.

I think option C is the way to go. Rebooting the APs should reset the PoE and get those dongles working again.
