C is the correct answer, no doubt. The other options sound like they were written by someone who's never actually worked with 802.1X authentication. Hey, at least they're getting creative with the wrong answers!

It's good to see some creativity in the wrong answers, though.

You're right, I misunderstood. Option B seems to be the correct one then.

Wait, is this a trick question? I thought EAP transparent was the one where the NAS has to decode the EAP packets. Oh well, I'll still go with C just to be safe.

But option C mentions EAP termination, not EAP transparent authentication.

D sounds like a made-up term. EAP transparent and EAP relay are definitely not the same thing. I'm going with C as the best option here.

Definitely, EAP termination authentication simplifies the process by encapsulating EAP packets in RADIUS packets.

Yeah, EAP termination authentication seems more logical than EAP transparent authentication.

I think C is the correct choice too. EAP termination authentication makes more sense.

I agree, C is the correct answer. EAP termination is all about keeping the NAS simple and letting the authentication server handle the EAP logic.

Option C seems to be the most accurate description of EAP termination authentication. The NAS doesn't need to handle EAP packets, it just forwards them to the authentication server.

C) EAP termination authentication does not require the NAS to resolve EAP packets. Instead, the EAP is encapsulated in RADIUS packets, so that authentication packets traverse the encapsulated network and reach the authentication server.

A) 802.1X authentication mode is divided into EAP termination and EAP transparent transmission.
