Wait, are we talking about the same hard disks here? If the specs and quantity are the same, then how can the performance be different? This is giving me a migraine.
Hold on, I thought RAID10 was all about that sweet, sweet data redundancy. How can it have the same random write performance as RAID5? This is making my head spin.
Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. Doesn't RAID10 usually have better random write performance than RAID5 due to the mirroring aspect? I'll have to double-check the details on that.
