A) Single-layer VLANs can be used when the number of users is small, and dual-layer VLANs must be used when the need to distinguish services and the number of users is second to 2K.
Hmm, I'm torn between A) 2K and B) 4K. Guess I'll have to flip a coin on this one. Or maybe I should just ask the network admin to hold my hand through this one.
I'm pretty sure the answer is B) 4K. The question mentions that dual-layer VLANs are used when the number of users is large, and 4K is the higher option compared to 2K.
