Option C is definitely the most consistent example of implementation. It covers identified risks with scripted tests and also includes exploratory testing sessions.

I prefer option D. Mixing autonomous exploratory testing with user-guided system tests at the end provides a good balance.

Option C seems like the most comprehensive approach to me. Covering the identified risks with scripted tests while also leaving room for exploratory testing during the system test phase.
