I'm feeling a bit like a car salesman trying to pick the right project. Maybe we should just let the tool decide - it's probably better at making these decisions than we are!

Project D is the obvious choice. It's a small part of a larger project, so it's a great way to dip our toes in and see how the tool performs without risking the whole project.

I disagree. Project B is the way to go. Safety-critical systems should be the priority, and the high visibility will really showcase the tool's strengths.
