C and D are the way to go, my friends. The router ID and per-link processing are the true similarities between these two networking protocols.

I'm going to have to say C and D as well. OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 are like twins, just one's a bit more modern than the other.

That's right, OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 both have 32-bit router ID and protocol processing per link.

I think both OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 support virtual links.

Haha, virtual links? What is this, a game of DOOM? I'll go with C and D, the classic 32-bit router ID and link-based processing.

Virtual links are actually a feature in OSPF, not a game.

I'm not sure about virtual links, but the multiple instances per link and the 32-bit router ID seem like good similarities between the two versions.

C and D seem like the right choices to me. OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 both use 32-bit router IDs and process the protocol per link, not per subnet.
