You know, I was just reading about this integration the other day. I think the answer is to add the AWS enterprise application from the Azure portal first. That sets up the connection between the two environments.

I agree with Estrella. Enabling the security hub in AWS seems like the first logical step. Otherwise, I'm not sure Defender for Cloud would be able to communicate with the AWS environment.

I'm not so sure about that. Wouldn't we need to enable the security hub in the AWS account first? That seems like a prerequisite before we can integrate it with Defender for Cloud.

Hmm, this is an interesting question. I think the first step would be to configure the Environment settings in Defender for Cloud. That seems like the logical place to start before adding the AWS account.
