You have a container named container! in an Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL account.

You need to make the contents of container1 available as reference data for an Azure Stream Analytics job.

Solution: You create an Azure function that uses the Azure Cosmos 08 for NoSQL change feed as a trigger and an Azure event hub as the output.

That's a valid point, perhaps we should explore other trigger options.

I agree with Edison, I think a different trigger method might be more suitable.

I believe using Azure function for trigger might not be the best approach.

That's a good point. Reference data in Stream Analytics can be a bit tricky. The Azure function approach could let us do some preprocessing or filtering of the Cosmos DB data before sending it to the job.

Hmm, I'm not so sure. The question states that the contents of container1 need to be available as reference data. Using an Azure function and an event hub might give us more flexibility to process the data before feeding it into Stream Analytics.

Yeah, I agree. I was thinking we could maybe just use the Cosmos DB input option directly in the Stream Analytics job. That seems like it would be a more straightforward solution.

I'm not sure about this question. Doesn't using an Azure function and an event hub seem like a bit of an overcomplication? I thought there might be a more direct way to integrate Cosmos DB data with Stream Analytics.
