Microsoft Exam MB-240 Topic 8 Question 57 Discussion

Actual exam question for Microsoft's MB-240 exam
Question #: 57
Topic #: 8
[All MB-240 Questions]

You are implementing a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service solution for a client

The client needs to be able to view the Parent Asset and Master Asset when the Primary Incident Customer Asset is associated to a work order. The asset data should not be stored directly on the work order. It should only be visible when the Customer Asset is selected.

Solution:

1. Create the Parent Asset and Master Asset on the work order.

2. Use Microsoft Power Automate to populate fields when the Customer Asset contains data.

Does this meet the goal?

I agree with Bette, it could cause data duplication and inconsistency.

I believe storing the asset data directly on the work order is not the right approach.

Yeah, I agree with Emily. Option 1 is not the right solution. We need to use Power Automate to populate the fields, like option 2 suggests.

I think option B is the way to go here. Storing the asset data directly on the work order doesn't seem to meet the goal of not storing the data directly on the work order.

Agreed, it ensures the data is not stored directly on the work order.

Because storing the asset data directly on the work order goes against the requirement.

Okay, let's see. The requirement is to display the Parent Asset and Master Asset when the Primary Incident Customer Asset is associated with a work order, but without storing the data directly on the work order. Interesting!

Hmmm, I'm not sure about this one. The question seems a bit tricky. Let me think it through.
