Note: This question is part of a series of questions that present the same scenario. Each question in the series contains a unique solution that might meet the stated goals Some question sets might have more than one correct solution, while others might not have a correct solution.

You are implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights as your company's Customer Data Platform.

The initial dataset tables contain contacts from Dynamics 365 Sales, eCommerce customers, and service management platform incidents.

In your first unification run, you set Dynamics 365 as the primary table but only see eCommerce profiles that were able to be matched with Dynamics 365 contacts.

You need to ensure that unmatched eCommerce customers are also added as a profile in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.

Solution: Configure the eCommerce table above the Dynamics 365 table in the Source Fields step.

Does this meet the goal?

You guys are really overthinking this. It's simple - if the question says the solution is to configure the eCommerce table above the Dynamics 365 table, then that's the answer. Why are we even debating this? Let's just go with option A and move on to the next question. *chuckles* Unless, of course, you all want to be the ones who fail the exam. *winks*

Hmm, I'm not sure about that solution either. Wouldn't that just create a mess of duplicate profiles and inconsistent data? I think the better approach would be to find a way to match the unmatched eCommerce customers to the Dynamics 365 contacts, even if it means doing some additional data enrichment or cleansing. That way, we can get a complete view of the customer without compromising the integrity of the data.

You know, Marion makes a good point. I'm not sure if that's the best approach either. I think the key here is to find a way to bring in the unmatched eCommerce customers without overriding the Dynamics 365 data. Maybe there's a way to do that in the data mapping or profile resolution steps.

Hmm, this is an interesting one. I'm not sure if configuring the eCommerce table above the Dynamics 365 table is the right solution here. Wouldn't that just prioritize the eCommerce data over the Dynamics 365 data? I feel like we need to find a way to merge the unmatched eCommerce customers with the Dynamics 365 contacts without sacrificing the integrity of the Dynamics 365 data.
