Hmm, I'm torn between B and D. Decisions, decisions. At least it's not multiple choice - that would be a real tunnel of a problem!

I see your point, but I still think D is the way to go for this deployment.

But wouldn't using GRE tunnels from the AWS Transit Gateway be more efficient in this scenario?

I disagree, I believe D is the better choice. IPsec tunnels from the AWS Transit Gateway provide a more secure connection.

I think B is the way to go. GRE tunnels from the AWS Transit Gateway seem like the best option.

A) Use IPsec tunnels from the AWS Virtual Private Gateway. Simple and reliable, but might not scale as well as the other options. Still, can't go wrong with the tried and true IPsec approach.

D) Use IPsec tunnels from the AWS Transit Gateway. This provides the security of IPsec while still allowing connectivity across multiple VPCs. Definitely a solid choice.

C) Use GRE tunnels from the AWS Virtual Private Gateway. I like this option because it's more straightforward and doesn't require setting up a separate Transit Gateway.

I see both points, but I think option C) might be a good compromise as using GRE tunnels from the AWS Virtual Private Gateway can also provide efficient connectivity for all VPCs.

B) Use GRE tunnels from the AWS Transit Gateway. This seems like the most efficient approach to me. Fewer tunnels, and Transit Gateway can handle connectivity across multiple VPCs.

I disagree, I believe option B) is the best choice as using GRE tunnels from the AWS Transit Gateway can reduce the number of tunnels needed and simplify the deployment.
