Question #: 10
Topic #: 2
[All NCP-CI-AWS Questions]

In which two ways should an NC2 on AWS cluster be hibernated manually? (Choose two.)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, D

To manually hibernate an NC2 on AWS cluster, the administrator can use the following methods:

Select the cluster under NC2 console and Select Hibernate/Resume on the cluster sur page: Navigate to the specific cluster in the NC2 console and use the provided Hibernate/Resume option.

Log into NC2 console, find the cluster name and select Hibernate/Resume from the ellipses: Access the NC2 console, locate the cluster name, and select the Hibernate/Resume option from the ellipses (three dots) menu.

These options allow for the manual control of the cluster's hibernation state directly within the NC2 console interface.

As long as I don't have to hibernate the entire AWS data center, I think I can handle this. B or D for the win!

I'm surprised there's no option to just yell 'Hey Alexa, hibernate my cluster!' That would be the most efficient method, in my opinion.

A and C both mention Prism, which seems like it might be overkill for this task. I'm leaning towards B or D.

D is the way to go, logging into the NC2 console is the most direct approach.

I think option C is incorrect because it mentions Prism Element, which is not the correct way to hibernate an NC2 cluster.

I'm not sure about option A. I think option B might also be a valid way to hibernate the cluster manually.
