I'm leaning towards D, as it talks about binary logs.

C makes more sense to me, because it mentions PIT recovery.

I see both sides. But I lean towards option D. It makes sense that NDB can continue capturing logs before they are purged.

I disagree with I believe option B is the right choice. NDB can still capture logs even if third-party vendors back them up.

I think option A is correct. Without exclusive log access, Point-in-Time recovery won't work.

Honestly, at this point, I'm just hoping to pass the exam. These questions can be so darn specific and technical. It's like they're testing our ability to read minds or something. But hey, at least we can commiserate over a few beers after the test!

You're right Jamika, Using Microsoft SQL Server, if the database is managed by another third-party backup vendor, you can choose to grant exclusive log access to NDB while registering the database to NDB. If you do not grant exclusive log access to NDB, the Point-in-Time (PIT) recovery will not be supported, but snapshot-based recovery of the databases is supported.

Hmm, this is an interesting one. I think the key here is whether we're granted exclusive log access or not. If we don't have that, then it seems like the PIT recovery might be affected, but snapshot-based recovery could still be supported. Does that sound right to you guys?

I'm not sure about this question. It seems a bit tricky, and I'm not too familiar with the specific details of NDB and third-party backup tools. I'll have to think this through carefully.
