Provision storage on the Nutanix cluster by creating a volume group. Create a client whitelist to enable access to the volume group by using the IP addresses or client initiator IQNs in a whitelist (as part of the volume group configuration). Create a secret for the volume group if you are using CHAP authentication.

Woah, guys, let's not get too carried away here. Passwords? Really? Who needs 'em when you can just use your fingerprint or retina scan to access those volumes. Just sayin'.

B) CHAP, no doubt about it. It's like the rock 'n' roll of authentication protocols - simple, straightforward, and never goes out of style.

A) iSER, because why not? Internet Small Computer System Interface Extensions for RDMA sounds like the perfect solution for secure volume access. Plus, it's got that futuristic vibe to it.

D) LDAP seems like the way to go. Lightweight Directory Access Protocol is the way of the future, and it's way cooler than those other options.

I'm feeling a bit SAML-y today, so I'll go with C) SAML. Who needs passwords when you can authenticate with Security Assertion Markup Language, am I right?
