When you are creating your purchase orders, you want to be able to apply discounts to all purchase order lines with a single action and have opted in to the feature.

Which are the two conditions when the base price CANNOT be changed?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A, D

The base price of a purchase order line cannot be changed if the line is created from a punchout marketplace that does not allow the price to be changed, or if the line is included on a procurement contract. These are the two conditions that prevent the application of discounts to all purchase order lines with a single action.

Haha, this question is a classic! I bet the answer involves something about those sneaky procurement business units and their rules. Let's see... C sounds like a winner to me.

Yeah, that makes sense. It's all about those rules and restrictions.

I think C is correct. The procurement business unit configuration must not allow manual price updates.

I think C is definitely a valid condition, but I'm not sure about D. Hmm, maybe the contract part could prevent price changes too. Time to do some research!

C and D sound like the right conditions to me. Can't change the base price once it's received or billed, or if it's on a contract. Easy peasy!

Exactly, C and D are the conditions where you can't modify the base price. It's important to keep that in mind when creating purchase orders.

C and D are the correct conditions. Once it's received or on a contract, base price can't be changed.

I agree with you, Bo. The other condition is when the purchase order line is included on a Procurement Contract.

I think the base price cannot be changed when the purchase order line is for catalog items.
