In which two ways can you use Data Pump to move data to the cloud? (Choose two.)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, C

Data Pump can move data to the cloud by importing from a dump file stored in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Object Storage or directly from an Oracle Database using a database link. These methods allow for efficient data transfer to the cloud, with the dump file method providing a way to stage data in OCI Object Storage and the database link method enabling direct data transfer between databases.

Haha, D? Really? Everyone knows IRMAN is for storing your collection of cat videos, not your data! B and C for the win!

I'm pretty sure the answer is B and C. Unplugging a PDB? That's so 2015, am I right folks?

Yeah, importing from OCI Object Storage and Oracle Database using a database link are more modern methods.

I think it's B and C too. Unplugging PDB seems outdated.

I believe D) IRMAN Backup and Restore is not a valid way to move data to the cloud. It's more for backup and recovery purposes.

I'm not sure about C) Import from Oracle Database (database link). Does anyone have more information on this?

I think B and D are the correct options. Who needs a database link when you have IRMAN, am I right?

I agree with Jesse. Another way is B) Import from a dump file in the OCI Object Storage.

I think A) PDB unplug/plug is one way to move data to the cloud.
